I'd like too state how in its not longer history than ouselves, the United States used "the bully pulpit" to push two doctrines to push power in its favor: One was "Manifest Destiny" & the other was the "Monroe Doctrine". This, not without strategic goals - to become like & even more than Great Britain, the regional hegemon (the hemispheric Leader) of the Western Hemisphere. And gaining Territory was a central tactic in gaining this dominance - And so was another - creating a central myth that if "the poor, the tired, the huddled masses" came to populate the United States, the founders of America KNEW that this too was a central tactic. It was founded on the MYTH that this was the "Land of the Free." And so they advertised in those countries, to convince them of the Myth of the "Pursuit of Happiness, said Jefferson, that it would convince the "huddled masses" to come to America knowing that the land, the space they were acquiring, would someday soon make these thirteen and counting territories, more powerful, more of a HEGEMON than Great Britain, so that if there were any arms race in the 19th century, it was within the Anglo World: The USA against "the United Kingdom." They were not any more "Great Britain." But this was not the ambition of Canada; it would be impolite. Even Britain herself had the goal not to be a Hegemon. The goal in what became their Empire was to raise up the "commonrs" into becoming "Ladies and Gentlemen, and that if the brown and black commoners rose to prominence, well then this was not to glorify the Empire as such, but to glorify the "Constitutional Monarchies" that the many nations of the British Empire were becoming - the sons and daughters of "CIVILIZED MANKIND!" Canada thus was largely, until roughly the time of MacKenzie King, part of this "civilizing element" which would raise up the kind of man like Lord Beaverbrook and Baden Powell. After Mackenzie-King and very much during the time of Mackenzie-King, the goal in Canada became increasingly continental and thus American-style Capitalism would be the goal of especially the Eastern elites. They had been up until then the offspring of the British Empire, an empire that had already arrived. The eastern Elites had no competition from the western provinces until, after 450 dry holes Imperial Oil struck Oil in 1947 at Leduc Alberta. And the West grew only as the oil economy brought the kind of wealth so that finally the west could compete with "their eastern superiors" except for entrenched interests of Trinity College Bay Streeters. that ran the blue-ribbon companies. But now western and eastern Canadians can BOTH see and realise that at the top of "Turtle Island" now is corruption and the stagnation of MAGA land and whom I like to call Donnie J. Drumpf! Until Prime Minister Mark J Carney, Canadians could see that the continental capitalism is distasteful and dystopian because the American elites are like Georgie W. Bush and donnie Drumpf. And therefore Continental Capitalism has not shone as an ideal but as a dystopian corruption. And @CanadianPM @MarkJCarney is showing Canadians that we don't have to sink like America into fascism. We can diversify our industrial policy - and Carney has made us as Canadians look better than the USA dystopia! However this may be, for Canada to sue rather for SURVIVAL so that we too are NOT overtaken with this American great behemoth of trumpism, then Canada must become more powerful. We need to not only feel good about ourselves, we too can be MORE desireable for those poor huddled and homeless masses to come here to Canada, not just to then travel South to more sunshine: we need to pass laws to make them stay here - If Canada gives you a seat at our table, then you need to populate THISS nation. I think Canada to become powerful, then we need the population to do it, to help us devellop out great Resources, to get training in AI and all manner of futuristic high technology. We can offer deals to the blossoming AI companies of Silicon Valley to move here! We need engineers & technicians, to lure thje start-up technologies of tomorrow and we can make Canada BETTER than the greed, corruption, and the violence that Sir John A. Macdonald saw in America, with its being at war with each other. Psychology 101 says in the #Stanford Zymbardo textbook, that #immigration is VITAL for society's well being BUT the immigrants need to be more like the peoples that are already here, like the culture already believing hopefully in its beliefs and values. Instead its fair to say that up to Carney this wasn't achieved. In fact up until #Carney, the #LiberalParty tried to import societies that would be both #communistic and #jihadist. And we won't be healthy until we can say it - to take a good look at ourselves. We are the ONLY G7 country that has placed NO LIMIT on abortion - that we are aborting them at birth because of no limit. We divorce each other because there is no Limit. In the Catholic and Orthodox belief, Canada will fall unto this GLOBAL DYSTOPIA unless we REPENT and that the calling of REPENTANCE be heard - and begun EVERYWHERE!!!

I do not trust Putin who has ALREADY SHOWN his propensity for using invasion to get what he wants. He has PRACTICALLY TOLD Us that he wants to expand into being a great Empire again. So I can easily see Putin attacking Lithuania or Latvia. And just because of #ARTICAL5, @NATO could likely try and stop him! But I see China differently, which prefers to expand by policy and diplomacy. So i believe the West should have amended our Article 5 because with as huge as NATO has become, Articles5 assures us a bilateral conflict will turn into a World War!
