MUFON is a popular UFO reporting site. But did you know that if you submit a photo or video to them, you grant them exclusive rights to use or sell it? You can't then submit it anywhere else or allow public analysis of it on any other site. Seems counterproductive.

Did you know that Brent Spiner put out an album in 1991 that featured backup vocals from Jonathan Frakes, Michael Dorn, LeVar Burton, and Patrick Stewart? Listen till the end. youtu.be/pFwiLa3TYwg?si=W1L5…

Tell me again how violence is a problem on the left.
Here’s NC Republican gubernatorial nominee Mark Robinson, a featured speaker at the Republican National Convention, calls for violence last week: “Some folks needed killing! It's time for somebody to say it.”

In case you forgot, Trump suggested assassinating Hilary Clinton “If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” Mr. Trump said, as the crowd began to boo. He quickly added: “Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.”

Pretty straightforward here that by "unity" Trump just means that everyone agrees to give him whatever he wants and eschew criticizing him.
The new Trump tone lasted a record 36 hours.

How is anyone taking these insurrectionists seriously as they sanctimoniously denounce political violence? Isn’t a pillar of their 2nd amendment rhetoric, that they explicitly reserve the right to political violence.

This is a truly pathetic group of people
New: House Democrats tell @Axios that the fight over Biden's candidacy is on the back burner in the immediate aftermath of the Trump shooting. Rep. Dean Phillips says it would be "unpatriotic and unprincipled" to focus on anything but the shooting. axios.com/2024/07/14/house-d…

Wait you mean the specific old man that was incapable of seeing the enemy's power until it was too late, and ended up getting his ass kicked by a scarier old man who delighted in how evil he was?

Actual cryptographer explains why Signal is still secure 👇
Telegram has launched a pretty intense campaign to malign Signal as insecure, with assistance from Elon Musk. The goal seems to be to get activists to switch away from encrypted Signal to mostly-unencrypted Telegram. I want to talk about this a bit. 1/

What's cool about looking back at the history of college protests is that 19 year old students have been right about every single American war, and the esteemed Harvard educated opinion writers at the New York Times have been wrong about every single American war.
