As much as we would want to deliver complex topics, and put aside emotions and human factors. The real world is not utopia. And empathy is important. Especially when you have controversial opinions.
I used to deliver my arguments in a very cold and harsh manner, wishing it would be the most efficient way, but at the end of the day, we talk to humans, who have emotions, and the form of delivery often is more important, especially in the long term and for appealing to the masses.
