#English Today, while transporting an injured person from the Tishreen Dam area, one of the Kurdish Red Crescent ( @HeyvaKurd ) ambulances was directly targeted by Turkish state drones. Fortunately, the team, consisting of a driver and a nurse, managed to transport the injured person and move away from the vehicle before it was targeted again and destroyed. This is not the first time that the Turkish state and its allied factions have targeted ambulances bearing the Logos of the International Red Crescent and Red Cross. As we published earlier one of Kurdish Red Crescents ambulance drivers lost his life while transporting an injured person from the Manbij area on December 10, 2024, and So far and according to the health department of northeast Syria, two healthcare workers lost their lives while transporting the injured, and three others have been wounded. According to international law, targeting the injured, paramedics, ambulances, and civilians constitutes a flagrant war crime. This is precisely what the Turkish state and its allied factions have been committing openly before the world since the beginning of the campaign targeting Manbij and its eastern countryside.
