In the final analysis the Dems,specifically Pelosi, got played. McConnell pulled off the coup of insuring the Senators did not have to choose whether Trump was guilty. They got to have it both ways. The losers in all of this were the American people. Proving GOP doesn’t care.

McConnell: I kept the trial from happening in time to avoid any constitutional question. Therefore this proceeding is unconstitutional... So as a result, I vote Not Guilty.

Final vote was 7 courageous GOP senators voted to convict and 43 lacking courage voted to acquit. These 43 will forever be known for their lack of patriotism. Horrible.

So, the trial will come to an end. McConnell has said he will vote to acquit. This is done, and it has been from the beginning. I have listened to just about every aspect of this “trial”. The GOP never would have acquitted. How can anyone live with themselves for an acquittal?
