🧬 Our students explored genetics in today’s Middle-to-Medical School (M2M) session through the activity “An Inventory of My Traits.” With support from Texas Tech medical students (in person & via Zoom), they investigated heredity and learned what makes each of us unique!

The reports that over 500 people have been arrested in Turkey for their political beliefs is egregious. As a NATO ally, these attacks on freedom of speech must end. I urge Turkey to release these people immediately.

I am disheartened to hear of the mass detentions of Gülen followers in Turkey. I condemn this type of political persecution & urge Turkey to immediately release these political dissidents. Turkey needs to starting acting like a NATO ally and must cease this political persecution.
