Trendjacking is a cheat code for views on YouTube If you see a video doing well, take that idea and make your own version of it The biggest creators do this all the time. They remix what’s already working instead of trying to invent everything from scratch. You should too
Trendjacking was and always will be the number 1 way to easily get views on YouTube

YouTube is bringing DMs back They’ll work similar to IG & TikTok: - Tap Share on any Video/Short - Send it to a friend (they get a request) - When they accept, a DM convo starts It’s pretty clean! I’m curious how much people will use it instead of copy/pasting links

The toughest part as a YouTuber is keeping the belief that you’re gonna make it.. When barely anyone is watching you.

Subscribers don’t really matter anymore It’s become a vanity metric, which means it basically has no impact on how your videos do Every platform, including YouTube, has shifted to becoming more algorithmic They push content to viewers based on what they’re likely to enjoy
Just some advice for the up and coming YouTubers or smaller channels…subscriber count don’t matter anymore…you have to post consistently….thats it just keep posting.

This is a MUST-read for small creators
if I had to teach someone how to go from zero to 10k followers on Instagram, this is what I would do for context i started my personal brand a year ago, grew my account to 196K on Instagram, 200m views, 50m accounts reached this will be a no-bs guide because this is exactly what i did to get to where i am now I personally saw results quickly when i did this method. got 10k within a few weeks number one yes i know everyone has said it but you gotta be consistent. I posted 3 times a day for three months and my first 80 videos got like 500 views on average. after that I started getting 10k, 100k, 500k because its not just about the output of videos you create. when you create more, you become more comfortable on camera and more coherent, and understand what your audience likes example: i made a bunch of videos relevant to students and noticed my finance and tech content videos did really well so I doubled down on those and made videos that people actually valued. the great thing about starting your account and making a lot of videos is that you can experiment and a-b test and see what people like and don’t like. it’s like an exponential graph of understanding what people like and then making those types of content. also the average human is not going to know how to make the first video go viral. we are awkward. it’s normal to feel weird filming yourself talking to an inanimate object. in order to make a good video you either know how to already make good videos or you make cringe videos until you make a good video. it’s not about the numbers. it’s about how people respond to your content. example you can have a couple thousand videos but your engagement rate is so high that almost everyone that likes your videos also comments and shared. that to me is significantly better than having 100000 views but no substance. in the beginning it’s not really that important to have a goal of where you want your content to go because then you hyperfixate on that and forget why you started in the first place. if your goal is to is to make money, you might end up sounding really animated in your videos and artificial and nobody really likes that. if your goal is to use that as distribution for your account, people are also going to sense that you’re trying to promote selling at the end. they’re not going to mess with that. ultimately whatever you do, you should actually enjoy making content. or learn how to enjoy it because if yo don’t, it’s really really easy to burn out. note that this is different than doing ugc. here, you are the main character. for ugc, the tool you’re promoting is. the great thing about content tho is you can take it whatever you want, but focus on that down the line. next post will be about monetizing

Want to grow as a Creator? Save this: Motivation usually comes after you start posting Waiting until you're motivated is a waste of time Most successful creators weren't motivated everyday They just kept uploading when nobody was watching The views and followers came later
I posted 1 video a day for 365 days on every social media platform. Most "creators" can't even post once a week. Your lack of discipline is what is hindering you. Stop waiting for "motivation" to do what you need to do. Make a plan, manifest the results.

Yup. If you make Short Form Content then definitely edit in colorful/reactive subtitles.. It’s so small but keeps viewers engaged the whole time When you’re scrolling, you’ll notice most Shorts have subtitles on them YouTube themselves even say you should do it
make your Shorts content pop by using on-screen text and captions. it boosts accessibility and engagement.

YouTube is ALL about recognizing patterns It’s why everyone remixes Thumbnails & Titles When you find things that perform well (This is recognizing a pattern) Take it and RUN with it Study popular vids to find these formats Ex: The format below would work GREAT for Gaming
just a bit of pattern recognition

He didn't upload for a whole year. His first video back got 100,000 views in a month. Before this, he asked me if he should quit his channel because YouTube might hate that he took a break I told him this: YouTube doesn’t punish you for taking breaks The algorithm doesn’t stop liking you because you took time off But your audience might move on a bit, because they’re people at the end of the day If you stop posting, they’ll find other stuff to watch That doesn’t mean your channel is dead It just means your comeback video needs to give them a reason to care again Don’t come back with 10 random video ideas Come back with a GOOD video idea around a concept your audience has shown they care about For him, I said it was another Movie Poster Redesign video Now his first upload back ran up 100K views A lot of creators quit right before things are about to go crazy Sometimes you’re way closer than you think
Really solid for our first video back in a year! Lots of cool stuff coming to the channel soon! 🤙🏼❤️

Harsh advice for Creators: Remember that people can’t watch you if you’re always too scared to hit Upload You'll come up with excuses to not stream or upload because you're nervous Everyones scared when they start Scared of being judged, failing, etc. Just do it scared.

Don’t make fun of someone trying to make content online Even if they barely get any views It’s hard going from being a Viewer to a Creator Most people are scared to Upload, Edit, Stream, etc. They just sit around and dream about it So I'll always support those who TRY

Deleting videos can hurt your channel a little YouTube has said watch history helps connect your channel to viewers Deleting a video removes that data from viewer watch history Which can weaken future recommendations to those viewers Unlisting is better than Deleting
