The @AnthropicAI Fable going offline event is EXACTLY the reason we need tools like @NousResearch Hermes or @openclaw as our Home Dashboard for workflows in the future.
Building your stack on top of one company's tech is just too risky as a single point of failure.

Damn....I was making unbelievable progress on building an app for better democracy in the EU. First pass from Fable was >10x better than the weeks work I'd put in with Opus, GPT and M3.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

It looks like a normal AC unit in the yard.
But inside sits 16 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs and Dell servers.
A startup called Span builds them, backed by Nvidia.
They bolt onto your home and you get paid for the power and Wi-Fi.
Some estimates put that around $1,000 a month in your pocket.

Saw this chart on LinkedIn and thought it's worth sharing here, especially for my contacts in blockchain. The coloured numbers are the % of passwords that can be hacked in the time on the left.
If you're a founder and it goes double if you are in the lead up to a #TGE - you need to make sure you and your team are all (under consequence of getting fired) using passwords that are 25 characters long and ALWAYS 2fa.
It's not optional anymore.
