Our @PennsylvaniaDEP team is onsite and @PEMAHQ is coordinating closely with our emergency management partners at the train derailment in Northampton County.
There is no wider threat to the public. We’re continuing to monitor the situation and communicate with local officials and will keep the public informed.

3,450 pounds of garbage were left behind on Lake Tahoe after 4th of July weekend, which is over twice the haul from the year before. "Patriotic" Americans leaving behind thousands of pounds of trash for environmentalists to clean up is a perfect metaphor for our country's future.

From my read of the studies, there's zero question that the benefit of vaccinating kids far outweighs the risk – both to the individuals & the community. I fear that partisanship & the misinformation campaign has created both-side-ism pressure that is distorting the true facts.
