I've been working on something I'm excited to share: ResearchPod. Upload any research paper. Get a podcast you can actually listen to. I am hoping this will make research papers more accessible to a broader audience. Let me know what you think!

Mechanical watch on the left arm. No screen fitness tracker on the right arm. This is the way.

This is cool. A podcast summary of our new web agent paper. Thanks @researchpodapp for sharing the work.

This is the point. Same will happen in all countries that will make social media age restrictions. “Won’t someone think of the children” is usually not about the children
JUST IN: UK Government clarifies adults will still be able to use social media by verifying their identities with digital IDs, facial recognition, passports and credit cards.

This mf knows how to live
I'm in Zhangjiajie, the forest park with the mountains from Avatar. Again, I'm walking instead of taking the bus or the cable car. It's slower. But I get to think, and the viewpoint means more when I get there tired. I put my phone in the bottom of my backpack, somewhere annoying to reach. Over the last years we all picked up the same habit. We fill every silent moment with cheap dopamine. Even when we're with people. Music to kill the quiet. Scrolling to avoid feeling alone, while standing next to other humans. So I walk. No phone and no music. After a while, ideas start showing up out of nowhere. I think the mind keeps working in the background while you stare at something beautiful. It makes new connections, but only when you stop overstimulating it. The good stuff arrives in the silence you've been killing. And I think this might be it. We're at the start of an era where machines can do more knowledge work than most people. They create at the speed of inference. But the new connections, the actual ideas, I think those don't show up one second before you give yourself the quiet to find them. So maybe the rarest skill left is the most boring one. Being able to be bored.

If you're a researcher publishing your own paper or want to stay current with all the new stuff being published on a daily basis, try @researchpodapp! The product was really shitty a few months ago but I think we're getting to a point where we help busy researchers keep up with interesting papers & get less technical folks interested in research! Feedback always welcome :)
These days, paper visibility feels really hard, especially for us unknowns. Happy to see the community building more ways to help. Just learned about @HuggingPapers and submitted a short paper there. Many thanks to @researchpodapp for noticing it and turning it into a brilliant podcast with a sleek UI design, and to @NielsRogge for reminding me to release pretrained checkpoints for my previous two papers, as well as direct help with improving the model cards. Attaching this short paper here to see whether anyone is interested. Main takeaway: instead of focusing only on improving inference sparsity methods, we can also design upstream architectures that are inherently more capable of handling sparse inference.

OpenAI is reportedly considering drastic token price cuts to pull customers away from Anthropic, per WSJ. This follows rising complaints from enterprise customers about AI costs, while Anthropic has been gaining traction with Claude Code. The message is clear: @OpenAI does not want Anthropic to own the developer market. A real AI price war may be starting.

The biggest shift in how work gets done in a hundred years is happening right now. And most of us are still stuck doing work by hand. I see a different future. The boring work disappears. Humans do the meaningful things. Machines handle the rest. That's what I'm building.

Pretty insane new research from Google. They‘re basically able to monitor your heart rate using your front facing smartphone camera. Listen on ResearchPod 👇
Introducing a research system that enables passive heart rate monitoring (PHRM) during everyday smartphone use. Using the front-facing camera, it achieves industry accuracy standards for heart rate across all skin tones. Check out the blog to learn more: goo.gle/4dQTc2B

This looks super promising. Currently using @inworld_ai for ResearchPod but might switch to Miso if API costs are reasonable. Self-hosting next.
Today, we’re excited to introduce Miso One, the most emotive voice model in the world. Miso One is an 8-billion-parameter text-to-speech model for highly expressive speech generation. It emotes like a human and responds faster than a human, with just 110 milliseconds of latency. We’ve open-sourced the model weights, with API access coming soon. Hear how Miso One sounds in the thread below.

A short thank you. Yesterday gave me a lot of hope for the future of Viktor Watch. I won't take any of it for granted.

We keep hearing from EU leaders how the EU needs to become independent from US companies and how EU companies can still innovate and keep up with China & US. For some it might be obvious but for those that don’t know: This is absolutely not true. Anthropic just raised more money then all EU startups in 2026 combined. Yes this is only one metric but in a lot of ways it’s the only one that matters. We’re fucking cooked here.
We've raised $65 billion in Series H funding at a $965 billion post-money valuation, led by @AltimeterCap, Dragoneer, @Greenoaks, and @sequoia. This investment will help us advance our research and expand our capacity to meet growing demand for Claude.

At this point we need a war or some other revolution to reverse this trend. I don’t see how we can turn the ship around by trying to fix things incrementally. Most of my smartest friends have moved already, the rest is playing with the idea or actively thinking about getting out.
