In Mar 2016, @RockefellerFdn announced a deal with @omcpower to install #solar powered mini-grids to support rural electrification of 1,000 villages in #India.

Pitiful state of the Assi, which along with the Varuna gives its name to the holy city of #Varanasi.
More a drain now, it carries 70 MLD sewage into the Ganga.
