They just can't stop themselves from supporting quacks who medically harm at-risk minors. Detransitioners in NYC: there are sane people here. We are here. Lots of friendly moms who work to support each other.

nyc has a weird collective blind spot around pure noise. the god damn govt officials will spend hours arguing about housing, crime, transit, zoning, schools, etc. while millions of people are getting their sleep fragmented every night by sirens, honking, construction, garbage trucks, & random dudes who do not shut the fuck up. if mamdani could somehow cut citywide noise by 30-50%, residents would probably experience a larger improvement in daily wellbeing than many far more expensive policy programs like city run grocery stores. why doesn’t anyone do anything about this?!? wake up zohran.

It is astoundingly tone deaf and callous for TransAlt lobbyists to be pushing for the 72nd St bike lane expansion which invites high speed e-bikes/e-scooters. Two cyclists just died in a senseless accident. Until we have real legislation that addresses e-bikes/e-scooters and how dangerous they are for others in bike lanes, car lanes, and even sidewalks, there should be an immediate moratorium on any new bike lanes. @NYCMayor @NYC_DOT @SpeakerMenin @NYCCouncil @nyc_evsa
Do you want safe streets in New York City? Then this Tuesday, come join us to support the 72nd Street safety project! The Upper West Side is so close to getting its first-ever crosstown protected bike lane — but we need your help to get it done.

Classes of E-bikes stand-up E-scooters are hard to discern by sight. This is why all must be registered have a plate. The "bike lobby" has opposed this. They also suggested ENFORCEMENT is racist, or an ICE invite. Chaos has been their policy, chaos caused this. Tragic, sad.
2 men killed in scooter-bike collision on Queensboro Bridge, NYPD says - Gothamist. Very sad 🙏 gothamist.com/news/2-men-kil…

This is a real photo of university students in Iran in 1971. A few years later the government forced all women to cover their heads with hijabs. It happened so fast. So forgive me if I’m not amused by AOC and Mamdani wearing garments that represent this oppression of women.

Hey Zohran Mamdani: At over $44K per pupil and over $1M per classroom, it’s not the students being left behind. It’s competence.
In the wealthiest city in the richest country on Earth, it is unacceptable that so many students have been left behind.  So we’re investing in what works: high-quality instruction, strong support for teachers, and a public school system that doesn’t give up on anyone. The $17.3 million expansion of NYC Reads & NYC Solves programs will help make sure every NYC student succeeds.

My Mom & I in the Adirondacks in the 70s. What an amazing place to see ! I remember the smell of pine everywhere. Why are @nydems @LizKrueger @KristinGonzalezNYC @ebottcher @NYSenatorRivera @GovKathyHochul OK with cutting down TREES in the Adirondacks for useless (not enough sun) solar farms? & it’s not just a few “farms,” dozens & dozens in the works. @alex_fasulo @nycgov

The @NYC_DOT account is non-stop bike propaganda. Could we get some oversight on what is obviously an imbalance of government resources towards a single mode of transportation that is used by only 2% of commuters @SpeakerMenin @NYCCouncil?

The most scenic commutes are in bike lanes 🚴🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ NYC DOT’s Bike to Work Day was a big hit, but really any day is a good day to bike to work. NYC’s many bike lanes give you a view of the city like you’ve never seen it.
