People who've never lived in NYC have no idea what the situation is like. How most landlords have no interest in "good" tenants who care about the premises. They prefer ones who flop for a year and whose behavior drives out long timers. With each move comes a rent hike.

I'll never forget the bullshit at my 1st apartment in Greenpoint. They filled my locks with glue but the apartment next door was vacant & some lazy-ass broker left it unlocked so I went thru it onto the fire escape & shimmied through the bathroom window because I am *that* tiny.

RT important. Spent thousand mailing in 3 yr LL/Tenant fight & none of the tracking is available anymore on USPS official site, unless we spend the same again- will let u know if court will accept what we saved-if we ever get our day in court postponed since 7/2018-cause NYCโค๏ธLLs
