I've been working on this project for a few years.
I used a ton of camera tracking data/metrics to map basketball play styles to Pokémon types, 151 NBA players to the 151 OG Pokémon, and illustrated the results.

Likelihood that Durant mentioned something about Nia Long isn't low.
Who knows how that locker room really felt but I can’t imagine a worse coach in the NBA to work thru a situation like that. Can’t imagine that whole “stop being a bitch” 1972 Bobby Knight way of coaching was an effective approach to a very 2026 social media issue like this

At a certain point you have to wonder if people are even watching the games.
If anyone thinks jokics defense is even a top 5 reason for why this series was lost, I really do not think that you saw anything other than highlights if that.

Because the majority of people on NBA Twitter are primarily fans of being negative, critical, and finding ways to say that they were right and other people are wrong while doing identity politics.
Basketball, sports, whatever, is just their preferred vehicle for that.
