The @cartdotcom Quarterly Board Meeting went like this:
1. We beat revenue plan.
2. We beat Ebitda plan.
3. We won most loved places to work.
4. We launched game changing Unified Analytics Product.
5. We increased our forecast for the full year 2022.

6. Our Q3 Bookings are higher than Q2 already. 1 month in.
7. We made and avoided some mistakes. Learned from both for future.
8. Took a bow for some badassery and another bow for some dumbassery.
9. Virtual high fives.
10. Got back to work. Easy.

I'm proud to be:
An immigrant
A Muslim
A Pakistani American
A dad, husband, son, & brother
None of these are easy, but you should take pride in being an underdog as the hunger to fight from the bottom can't be taught in any school, book, or speech.

The answer has nothing to do with competition or markets. It actually goes back to a personal experience I had in my teens that shaped how I operate forever.

I was 16 yrs old when a guy put a gun to my head and press the trigger about 7 times.
Obviously I lived to tell the story, thanks to a gun that didn’t work.

3) No one except for my closest family would have remembered the first 16 years of my life if I had been killed that day.
It was up to me to make sure I did more the remaining years I have left to have an impact, cause a dent in the universe, and be remembered.
