🌍 Introducing High Value Areas (HVAs) on onocoy Massive client demand for GNSS correction data in specific regions has made one thing clear: the network needs targeted expansion. HVAs are our answer. An HVA is a zone where clients are actively requesting coverage, but station density is still too low. To accelerate growth where it matters most, these zones now come with **significantly higher reward bonuses** for qualifying deployments. This ensures that: • Coverage grows where it has immediate impact • Operators earn more where demand is highest • Clients get better accuracy and service performance 📍 Today, we’re introducing our first HVAs: Riyadh 🇸🇦 & Jeju Island 🇰🇷. More regions will follow in the coming days. If you're operating in or planning to deploy near these zones, HVAs are designed to reward your contributions more fairly and more generously. 💡 Want to know if you're in an HVA? Follow us and stay tuned for the rollout map.

For most of GNSS's history, correction networks were regional silos: operators built coverage where their customers were, and cross-network roaming barely existed. onocoy is the open marketplace that connects them. The full case for what that means for operators with existing infrastructure is in the new post: onocoy.com/blog/how-onocoy-f…

Yes, this is unique. Yes, this is a real utility. Yes, it's already being used by our miners. There is a reason why this has been picked up by several GPS/GNSS-industry media outlets. Better take a look 👇
Centimeter-accurate GPS usually means a subscription, even when you own the base station producing the data. Traditional providers charge per device, per region, per workflow. Loopback on onocoy changes that. Run a validated onocoy station, and its correction stream is free for up to 3 of your own devices in parallel: rover, drone, machine, or any combination. Data Credits only apply when you consume corrections from someone else's station. Your own data, on your own devices, stays free. The new tutorial covers activation end-to-end and includes a live RTK field session with Isaac on-site.

Tomorrow at the @CVConf_, Daniel is on a panel called "The Patience Play: Why DePIN Takes Longer (And Why It's Worth It)." Fitting title. onocoy has spent years building real GNSS correction infrastructure: 7,900 stations, paying clients, revenue growing month over month. None of it happened overnight. 15:40, Audi Midi Stage. Alongside @1kxnetwork and @Powerledger_io. If you're in Zug, come say hi.

A common take on decentralized GNSS: data quality scales with hardware quality. Better receivers, better antennas, better data. That holds halfway. The other half is whether each station actually delivers data around the clock, which comes down to something most setups overlook: a stable internet connection. What you're looking at is a timelapse of data delivery across thousands of onocoy stations. Red dot = station sending data. White dot = station not. Most of the time, the network runs solid red. But on April 16-17, white dots burst across whole regions at once, like a thunderstorm rolling through. Parts of the US, South America, and Europe were affected. The cause was upstream from the network: instability on the internet backbone itself. Daniel covered this in the recent AMA. His point: receivers are mature technology. What varies is the internet pipe behind them, and sometimes it varies in regional bursts like this one. What we're now looking at: whether and how Streak Bonus handling can be softened so a brief transport hiccup doesn't count the same as a hard offline. onocoy Team is on it!

Peer-reviewed survey of the DePIN sector just landed in ICT Express (Elsevier). The paper analyzes 21 top DePIN projects and formalizes a six-layer architecture common to networks like Helium, Filecoin, Hivemapper, and other token-incentivized infrastructure systems. Sector scale documented: 50B combined token market cap, 5.4M deployed devices across 196 countries. For GNSS, the category sits under "Sensor Networks": location-dependent infrastructure where physical reference stations contribute validated data into a shared network. That's onocoy's category as a decentralized RTK correction network. 7,500 validated stations across 40 countries. One detail worth highlighting: the reward formulas across these systems include a quality factor (Q) that weights validation outcomes. At onocoy, the same validation pipeline that determines what stations earn is also the product enterprise clients pay for. Always useful when the architectural analysis catches up to the operating networks. doi.org/10.1016/j.icte.2026.…

$ONO tokenomics in 4 numbers: → 810M max supply (hard cap) → ~16% annual emission decrease → Halving every 4 years → Buybacks and burns funded by enterprise revenue from GNSS reference station data sales Find out more on this mechanism in the blog: onocoy.com/blog/build-the-fu…

onocoy × autosteer.cc 🤝 autosteer.cc joins the onocoy partner program 🤝 onocoy is hardware-agnostic by design. Any compatible setup integrates into the network, which means every new partner expands the on-ramps for operators. What autosteer.cc brings: DIY autosteer kits for farmers, now with a Mosaic-X5 base station setup that's onocoy-compatible out of the box. More partners, more stations, more coverage where the data gets used. The GNSS data market grows from there. autosteer.cc/produkt/onocoy-…

The onocoy flywheel, in one paragraph: Operators deploy stations → coverage density improves → the data becomes more valuable to enterprise clients → revenue grows → revenue funds miner payouts and $ONO buybacks → more operators come online → coverage density improves further. Every layer reinforces the next. The loop is already running. The market it's building for: $48.3B in autonomous systems (drones, ground robots) projected by 2030. onocoy.com/blog/build-the-fu…

LOOPBACK➡️➡️ ↗️ ↘️ ⬆️ 👀 ⬇️ ↖️ ↙️ ⬅️⬅️
Coming to onocoy: Loopback. Every operator on the network (7,900 stations) is about to get something legacy GNSS networks have always charged extra for: Free correction data for their own devices. Same station, two jobs: → Stream feeds onocoy as usual, earns $ONO → Same stream loops back to you, free → 3 active connections, unlimited devices configurable → No NTRIP caster to host. Quality monitoring built in. Drone pilots, surveyors, robotics teams, fleet operators: same hardware, both sides of the network. Going live very soon!
