Getting a few DMs on whether you've been selected in the first batch for @operators_guild, as well as some on who took the call. If you didn't get an email, you weren't selected for the first batch. But this DOES NOT mean that you won't ever be selected. We're focusing on ensuring we can have a tight knit, well engaged group before we start expandng. Only ~14 folks were added from ~85 applications. All founding members got a say in who they wanted in the community for the start, and every single person selected had multiple founding members vouching for them. Your application is still valid / active. As we look to grow more in the future, we will continue picking members from the applicants.

I was so excited when Kunal and I got to chat at #EditionsDev about this. We've been so fortunate to have people interested in @ShopDevAlliance that aren't even devs necessarily, but dev-adjacent? that still wanted to be part of community. Kunal and Spencer are the perfect people to be leading this initiative. They know the space so well and have made consistent efforts to promote an even better Shopify Partner ecosystem. I'm really looking forward to opportunities to partner with this community and collaborating to help us all better support merchants building on Shopify.
