Turks think that by the natural order they would beat Australia, but still haven't figured out that just because you're bigger or the favorites doesn't mean victory is inevitable.
This constant arrogance is exactly why their potential for economic success has been flushed down the toilet, and now Turks need to shop in Greece to afford meat and cheese.
They were arrogant in their foreign policy, and now not even the Central Asian Turkic countries want to entertain their delusions that Turkish-occupied northern Cyprus is an independent state.
And now, even in the sporting arena, a country of nearly 90 million has not achieved a single notable sporting success and has even been humiliated by Australia, a country of 28 million, where football is the fourth sport behind Australian Rules Football, Rugby League, and Cricket.

He demands the EU’s mutual assistance clause (the EU's equivalent of NATO's Article 5) stop being a dead letter on paper and become a real, enforceable defense pact.
