The thing is Jim, that your worldview is totally incoherent when examined.
You’re someone who’s dedicated his life to writing about the 9 Years War. Why this event in particular, as opposed any other of the innumerable wars fought throughout world history? Clearly you attach a special significance to this event because of its importance in the history of your people as an Irishman, specifically as an Ulster Irishman with the name O’Neill. You make a living through other Irish people who are interested enough in their own history to buy your books or attend your lectures. Even when you make arguments attempting to shame so-called Irish racists you do appealing to their ethnic heritage, referring to the historic experience of Irish emigrants. Ethnicity and ancestral heritage therefore is central to you perceive the world.
And yet, you support mass immigration policies that will diminish your own ethnic group’s standing as a percentage of the population in their own homeland. You support this even despite the knowledge that the historic settlement of foreign populations in Ireland was used to disenfranchise Irish people and marginalise our culture and identity.
