I do not wish to disrespect, but many of the award voters are avid kaspians who rooted for my kaspa status at least as much as for my research. Let them win or count me out. Crypto has turned from a euphoric cypherpunk project to a house-friendly casino. You may not be the culprit, but as a top player you hold the lion’s share of the responsibility to correct this, and the October crash your USDe oracle glitch helped trigger adds to what needs to be addressed. There are three classes of crypto, as @mert put it recently: commercial crypto, casino crypto, cypherpunk crypto. <<Binance should hold a privilege policy for the latter.>> A TBTF CEX should know better and play a different game with hardcore crypto projects. When binance lists a green frog three weeks post its “launch” but skips a fair-launched-Nakamoto-Consensus-100ms-upgrade-ATH-top-20-the-only-nonbitcoin-marathon-mined project, this is not merely binance rationally calculating; it is also binance molding the market in a way that is alas misaligned with the roots of the movement. You may feel that kaspa’s sovereign money thesis is boring – that bitcoin is already money and that implementing an internet-speed bitcoin is useless - fine. Wrong but fine. But what’s the thesis for the green frog? Money is a classic chicken-and-egg product. When I first heard of $KASPA in early 2024, $KAS was $.17. I "Aped in!" $10K USD! Didn't even know what it meant at the time to "Ape in!" I was a "Normie." Bought $BTC and $ETH for the 1st time in early 2021. Was looking for the next $BTC or $DODGE. Heard of all these overnight millionaires. I'm like why not me??? I'm #GenerationX! I've been grinding since 1972 before grinding .... was grinding! Found $SHIB spring of 2021. I became a $SHIB MAXI! Swapped all my normie coins into $SHIB. Didn't know the difference between Proof of Work or Proof of Stake! I just knew I needed to get in "EARLY!" Fast forward after watching my $SHIB bag go from $7,000 to $90,000 late 2021, then all the way back down to $7,000 or less, I went into the PTSD crypto winter for a couple years. I didn't' even know there was a "Cycle!" I thought I was going to be a $SHIB millionaire! Early 2024, I start checking back up on my crypto accounts, started watching crypto Youtube again. I see this young crypto influencer saying "I just bought another 25,000 of $KASPA".... and he starts going into the details, Proof of Work, No VC's, No Pre allocation to Devs or Insiders!" I never heard of anyone so passionate about a crypto currency! This is where I started listening, researching, following anyone that could tell me about $KASPA. This was my $WTF is $KAS moment and where do I buy it, and when I started to know the difference between POW and POS....and my crypto education and research really began here!
