I agree with Zack. Innocents have been sent to jail for merely smashing their way into a factory using a huge van, causing £1.4m in damage & breaking a police-woman’s back with a sledgehammer. The factory owners were Jews! This is outrageous.
Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

So the Green Party’s official position is that fracturing a police officer’s spine with a sledgehammer ought not to be criminal? Good to know.

These thugs fractured the spine of Sgt Kate Evans, who spoke in court of the medical and emotional trauma she still lives with. Prison is where they belong. Unlike Zack Polanski, I want serious consequences for anyone who attacks police officers risking their lives to protect us.

In the Israeli political context, if the deal with Iran will be similar to what it is reported, Netanyahu will be heavily criticised and he will lose voters for it. He will also be quite in a dilemma because he won’t be able to put the blame on President Trump, at least publicly, as he still needs his support. This deal will not be worth the price Israel paid for starting this war

No, what should be “beyond the pale” is an antisemitic hate-monger being treated by so many as a serious journalist.

There’s a war in Lebanon because Hezbollah opened fire on Israel on October 8. Call it whatever you want, but no sane country would let terrorists sit on its border and fire rockets at its civilians at will.
Only Israelis claim to want peace with a nation while killing its citizens and stealing its land. This should be called: Israeling.

This is simply impossible. It is not possible to reconcile a moderate pro-NATO foreign policy with an activist base that explicitly sympathises with Hezbollah. Like Reform chasing ever more anti-immigrant policies, the Greens cannot change course now the Tankies have taken over.
The Green Party swelled with those backing its stance on Gaza, but how will it formulate a new foreign and defence policy that will satisfy members and attract swing voters? 🗺️ politicshome.com/news/articl…

Appalling 🧵 I want those who champion men in women’s sport to explain why they’re happy to put girls at risk like this.
This is a sexual assault—unknowingly captured by a mom filming her daughter’s wrestling match. Kallie didn’t know her opponent was male. But she knew something was very wrong. Today @ADFLegal helped Kallie sue the WA officials who placed gender ideology above her safety. 🧵⬇️

Important: Here is the full English version of #Israel president @Isaac_Herzog’s new video message to the people and @LBpresidency president of #Lebanon: *President Herzog Addresses the Lebanese People and Leadership During Visit to Northern Israel* *I extend a hand of peace to the President of Lebanon and to the Lebanese people. But Lebanon must remain free from the influence of Iran, Hezbollah, and the terror organizations”_* On June 10, 2026, President Isaac Herzog toured northern Israel. During his visit, President Herzog sent a message to the President and people of Lebanon. *Speaking in Arabic, President Isaac Herzog addressed the Lebanese President and people:* “From Israel’s northern border, I extend a hand of peace to the President of Lebanon and to the Lebanese people. But Lebanon must remain free from the influence of Iran, Hezbollah, and the terror organizations as an independent and sovereign nation. “My dream is to travel to Beirut, and this dream is still alive, but only if Lebanon’s future is determined in Beirut, and not in Tehran.” *Speaking in English, President Herzog added:* “It was Hezbollah that violated the UN Security Council Resolution of 2006. It was Hezbollah that violated the ceasefire agreement of 2024. Israel cannot accept any attacks on our citizens, any attacks crossing our borders, any terror attacks. We have the full right to defend ourselves, and so long as there is no clear arrangement that protects our nation, it will be impossible to move forward. So it's in your hands, fight for it.”

Lord Austin consistently demonstrates an understanding of what should be obvious to all reasonably intelligent people but apparently isn’t: Public figures demonizing, libeling and publicly obsessing over Israel will inevitably incite antisemitism.
Excellent from @LordIanAustin on yet ANOTHER debate on the evils of Israel: As he says: ‘Over the last few years, Parliament has discussed Israel more than any other issue, not just any international issue, more than any domestic issue: more than the economy, unemployment, crime, the NHS. ‘The public out there look at Parliament and think this is utterly mad, utterly, utterly mad.’ Lord Ian blames Parliament for helping fuel antisemitism adding: ‘Does Parliament not understand that singling out the world's only Jewish state, holding its standards not applied to anywhere else, falsely accusing Israel of committing these terrible crimes? ‘This is bound to drive hostility towards people who are identified with Israel, which is the vast majority of the Jewish community, and I have to say this is why I believe Parliament is playing a large role in driving the explosion of anti-Semitism that we've seen on the streets of Britain.’

Exactly right @Mr_Andrew_Fox. It’s hilarious that Mehdi Hasan is using this example to push his new media outlet. He’s literally made a living out of lying about Israel for the past 3 years.
Says Mehdi, as he goes on Sky and pushes an antisemitic blood libel (aka a lie) about there being a genocide in Gaza.

If this is a line-by-line takedown, why did Beinart skip Harris's most important line about what each side would do with total power? This is the man who apologized to his base for speaking at an Israeli university.
Highly recommend @PeterBeinart’s response to the viral Sam Harris essay about how Harris refuses to even debate critics of Israel. Beinart unravels his argument line by line and shows how ridiculous that kind of self-righteous certainty is in this debate.
