🌡The May 2026 Climate Bulletin from #CopernicusClimate reports the 2nd-warmest May globally, 1.42°C above the pre-industrial level. Western Europe saw an early & intense heatwave, while the global average sea surface temperature reached 20.90°C, 2nd-highest on record for May. ⬇️

Amusing seeing comments saying now temperatures have returned to normal/slightly below what's happened to global warming? For starters May brought record breaking heat at 17 degrees above average Also, local weather fluctuations will always occur in an otherwise warming world
