If you are Chicago bound watch out for Natalie & Sid presenting at #AACR2025 & come say hello!
Natalie's @AACR Women in Cancer Research award talk covers how we can use biology to improve early detection of polyps
Sid's poster is on early tumour transcriptional landscapes
Prof. Joanne Edwards' research @UofGCancerSci uses advanced models and omics to explore cancer biology and identify treatment targets.
From 2011, we funded Joanne to study whether STAT1 is a targetable tumour suppressor in #ProstateCancer

.@Katie_Robb_Glas and @McsorleyStephen are grateful to receive funding from @bowelcanceruk to investigate barriers to surveillance colonoscopy faced by people in areas with more deprivation.
We’re excited to announce we’re awarding three new research grants! 📣
These projects are focusing on improving early diagnosis of #BowelCancer. The focus on early diagnosis was chosen because the disease is treatable if caught early.
Happy Holidays Everyone! 🎄🎄🎄
We hope that you are all staying warm on the wind down to the winter break! ☃️🧣

PhD student Sara and @INCISE_research clinical Lead Stephen McSorley were at the 4th International Conference on Cancer Prevention #ICCP2024 in Heidelberg, Germany.
🌟Big news from GTRF! 🌟We’re excited to welcome our new @3DHISTECH P1000 scanner, made possible by @Beatson_Charity funding! This advanced technology will enhance histology imaging for cancer research.
Huge thanks to @LabEdwards for their support! 💙 #Technology#CancerResearch
ALT @3DHistech P1000 has the capacity of scanning 1000 slides.
This equipment is very efficient for our business taking less than 1min/slide for 20x resolution scanning.
It can perform 20x 40x resolution & has different RGB setting to customise the images as your preference.
Fun fact: It not only does normal slides - it scans Megaslides too!
#Technology #Opentocollaborate
ALT Our Lab Technicians @ghazal__latifi, #Hannah Morgan are very Excited about the new equipment and look forward to working with Big projects scanning.

What a first day! 🥳
The mission of INCISE is to improve bowel surveillance, so it is important for the public to understand bowel screening. 🤔
Find us tomorrow 12-3 for a chance to make your own cells and polyps! 🤩

ALT Thanks Ollie, Jack, and all the inquisitive children who came along!
ALT Paulie the Polyp is looking happy with how many times he was visited today!
Looking for PhD students/postdocs for my newly opened lab at the Institute of Human Biology of #Roche in Basel. We work on human lung, liver and gut #organoids. Send email CV motivation letter to hans.clevers@roche.com with header #IHBinstitutehumanbiology.com
@INCISE_research We have a unique cohort or serrated polyps with detailed histology, patients characteristics, transcriptomics and genomics @JoanneE59669325
