I'll be asking about the idiotic Labour appeal re #CostaBeck today in a Lords' Lib Dem debate on the growing challenges of the effects of climate change on natural ecosystems.
And I've warned the Minister I'll be raising it so she is forewarned and can give me a proper answer.

We're back in the High Court with @pickeringfish
on Monday for another showdown with @DefraGovUK and @EnvAgency.
In November, we got a judgment that questioned the Government's entire approach to river basin management planning.
Wonder if they'll try to appeal...

Tough guiding on a @WildTroutTrust Auction Day at Pickering Beck yesterday; low water & the chilly NW breeze killed off the expected Mayfly hatch with just a handful of duns & spinners late in the afternoon. Despite less than perfect conditions Richard managed to land 15 trout!

Pickering beck is very low & clear but fishing v well. Fish rising to Dance flies & the first Mayflies. Use light lines, long leaders with size 18 & smaller flies unless the fish are really taking the big Mayflies. Fishing this afternoon was great. Www.pickeringfishery.co.uk

Yorkshire. May not look much but when the river is in flood this gets taken downstream, eventually ending up in the sea. We are now filming river plastics and garbage when we are filming underwater. The problem I feel is getting worse
