Badacze odkryli, że zakażenie wirusem Epsteina-Barra (EBV) zwiększa ryzyko wystąpienia stwardnienia rozsianego (SM) nawet 32-krotnie. Opracowali test krwi, który umożliwia wykrycie reakcji immunologicznej na EBV u pacjentów z SM.
