I teach a class of 26 students… my coworkers have classes that are at or over the suggested caps - including 29 in FDK. My own child’s class of 15 will now become a class of 22 .... where are these below average classes @Sflecce keeps clapping himself on the back about?!

I’ve called every pharmacy/clinic and checked online. There are no covid clinics accepting people for tests. The second wave is here and Ford and the PC government don’t care. @fordnation @celliottability #COVID

Teachers frequent pull off huge endeavours on shoe string budgets. If this government had consulted and worked with educators we could have developed, organized and then implemented a workable back to school plan. Instread Ford & Lecce chose time vilifiy @Sflecce

Tragically, over 1,840 Ontarians in LTC have died of #COVID19.
But rather than act now, Mr. Ford is letting long-standing LTC problems continue indefinitely. All so he can use a backroom premier’s commission to hide from families & experts demanding a public inquiry.

What does a #SafeSeptember mean to me?
👉Smaller class sizes;
👉targeted supports for at-risk students;
👉Enhanced cleaning;
👉Screening;
👉Masks/PPE for staff & masks for kids;
👉Restrictions on movement in the school;
👉Funding to support the reopening;
👉a good backup plan.
