anyone recommend any good quality resources for children to learn how to write written answers to a shortish text (e.g. 1 side of A4 text)?
Looking to supplement our whole-class reading with a sprinkle of these.
You know the legendary @ClareSealy has written an epic new blog post on Oracy?
And she has only posted it herself on Bluesky?
What does that say about whether you should try moving over to the kinder place?
From the 'better place' (Bluesky) - here is a starter pack for primary people to dip a toe in the water (and then realise it's a much nicer place and then stay!)
go.bsky.app/HorqD36
It includes some familiar people to follow and 2 feeds to help jump start your community :)
Jump on over to BlueSky - It's like Twitter was back in the day before algorithms amplified hate & ruined it.
Still want algorithms to decide what you see? ✅
Just want to see posts from who you follow? ✅
Come on over, the vibe is goooood.
For people who use X for their livelihood but want to be on board with Bluesky (the feed control is 👌), please consider something like Yup to cross-platform post apps.apple.com/gb/app/yup-op…
We need you over at the green place!
If you've leaving twitter because of Musk please head to Bluesky not threads. A lot of UK politics people (me included - same name) are over there but not on threads.
Really impressed with Bluesky app. Just needs people to take the plunge. It's very 'Twitter 2019' with recent tech cleverness added in. Seems like you can choose to avoid the hate unlike other platforms which you have no control over & they amplify it.
