the HR lady is to give you a woman to blame when rich dudes lay you off
The “HR lady” archetype is a stand in for any woman with the power to tell men “no.”

Can @TheGreenParty please step up on #disability? Disabled people are facing attacks on their rights and welfare. Labour have outdone the Tories on cruelty and bigotry, the Tories are demanding even more, Reform are promising to dish more out. Who is your disability spokesperson?

'we're not calling for the death of disabled people. we're merely saying that if disabled people didn't exist there'd be more money and resources and food and water and and and' walks like a duck, and all that jazz

they said that disabled people don't deserve benefits - they told us to go work then they discriminate against us at work then they say we shouldn't be paid for our work - that we should be grateful to exist at all something makes me think this is all about something else

A politician or journalist would not be asked to define who is “disabled enough” when it comes to cancer, heart disease or diabetes. Why does the media think it is acceptable to platform politicians and journalists as arbiters of psychiatric disability?

An ADHD diagnosis doesn’t give you: ❌automatic rights to a blue badge ❌automatic right to disability benefits An ADHD diagnosis and treatment does give you: ✔️better mental and physical health ✔️reduced risk of premature death, substance misuse and a prison term

.@LindsayHoyle_MP Dear Sir Lindsay, Helen Whately is misleading the House. No one EVER got a Motability car for tennis elbow or acne. She presents no evidence because there is none. She is lying to whip up hatred of disabled people. Please refer her to the Privileges Committee.

Why can’t British people leave this Oliver Twist mentality in the past. Like literally every few days someone comes online to tell us how they were surviving on bread and sugar water and we should all accept that standard of living today. SHUT UP
I was young in the 80s/90s in the UK. I don’t remember my parents ever going out to eat, except when we were on holiday (in the UK). I don’t think they ever took me to a fast food restaurant, or ordered takeaway food. People today have no clue how working people lived. /1

FFS could someone please explain to me WHY the transport secretary - whose wages we pay by the way - keeps spreading this lie that having ADHD gives one an automatic right to a blue badge.
Having ADHD shouldn't give you an automatic right to a blue badge - according to the Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander, who warned misuse of parking permit ‘undermines’ disabled people.  The number of people receiving blue badges for hidden disabilities has trebled in the past five years since the criteria was changed. Should we crackdown on blue badges?

Without a fit note you can’t take time off if you are sick Without a fit note you can’t get sick pay So if you are off ill your employer can say it’s not sanctioned time off . You won’t be paid . You will probably be sacked. Who is this for ? Not the workers .

It doesn't. It never has. This is more hatemongering about disabled people to reduce empathy for them so there is less uproar when the govt attempts to introduce further cuts they know will result in the deaths and suffering of the disabled. It is propaganda for social murder.

Too many people are sick, so they're deleting the evidence that they're sick. *that* is sick.

Thinking of the countless tears I have witnessed after someone has been granted a ‘sick note’ from their GP surgery — permission, after months or years of desperately trying to keep it together to finally prioritise their health. This reprieve often allows people to stay in work.

.@AndyBurnhamGM If you do this, we will die. No hyperbole.
Andy Burnham's Centre for Social Justice wants to remove PIP & LCWRA from 1.1m claimants - those currently assessed as too ill or disabled to work But simultaneously only expects 10% (110,000) to move into work So enforced poverty on ~1 million chronically ill & disabled people

You do NOT get a blue badge for ADHD I know because I help people apply for blue badges a lot. I suspect you know too but are just spreading hate and fear. Does that make you feel proud of yourself?
Blue badges for ADHD…how can this be right? Like the benefits system - opening up support for mental illness or neurological conditions is being abused and exploited.

And still disabled people are being hounded into jobs they can't do and jobs that don't exist.

Pure fucking evil that will lead to a big increase in poverty, unemployment and excess deaths from ill health. Furious that their Euthanasia Bill got blocked, Labour are now opting to socially cleanse disabled people from the country through other means.
GPs in England will no longer issue “sick notes” in NHS trials to reduce the number of people signed off work Occupational therapists and “social prescribers” who recommend job coaching and therapy like exercise or gardening will be used instead to draw up stay in work plans
