I have successfully defended my Master’s thesis! 🎓 “A Data-Driven Study of Predictive Analytics for Improving Project Delivery Outcomes.” At its core, this research explored a fundamental question: Can project delays be predicted early enough to prevent them? Using real-world IT project data, I applied machine learning techniques to identify early warning signals for schedule delays. This gives project teams the opportunity to take action before issues escalate. I built and compared multiple predictive models to determine which approaches are most effective at detecting risks in the early stages. The goal was straightforward: to shift from reactive problem-solving to proactive, data-driven decision-making. Beyond the technical aspects, this experience strengthened my ability to translate complex analyses into insights that stakeholders can easily understand and apply. I am now looking to apply this work in a professional setting, particularly in roles focused on data analytics, project performance, and decision support. If you work in this field or are hiring for these areas, I would love to connect.

For the first time, vaping has surpassed smoking in Great Britain. 10.0% vape vs 9.1% smoke. 95% of vapers are current or former smokers — suggesting substitution, not initiation. A key milestone for tobacco harm reduction. coehar.org/uk-milestone-vapi…

The central question is not whether AI can be introduced into African health systems, but whether it can be governed to generate durable public value without widening inequities, reinforcing external dependence, or reproducing extractive data practices. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
