In a nutshell: their innovative projector projects lines instead of the standard circle.

So, in warehouse spaces that make extensive use of light floor marking, this solution can bring great energy and financial savings. Also, the entire system is interconnected - for example, the smart floor marking can interactively show a forklift driver where to load and unload.

💨 The second project of this year's PrusaLab hardware accelerator batch is the LastMiles foldable in-line skates. These go directly onto the shoe and, when folded, fit into a regular backpack.

The goal of the acceleration is then to finish developing the electronics needed to inflate the skate, and fit it into the frame (the frame itself is foldable so that the skates take up as little space as possible)...

The team verified their proof of concept during a bachelor thesis, and now, as part of our accelerator program, we are working together on a prototype suitable for mass testing on several herds.

This megaextruder is a result of more than a year of research & development by our friends at 3Deposition. Thanks to its printing capacity, we'll be able to print large pieces of furniture and other stuff (feel free to give us ideas!).
