Something fascinating I learned this weekend is that in parts of Massachusetts, Greek-style pan pizza - a Connecticut staple - is known as "New London style pizza." This is so much more interesting to me than you can possibly fathom.

Yeah but look at how much bigger of a smash Jaws was in 1975 than The Poseidon Adventure in 1972. Big fan of both movies btw.
99% of Spielberg discourse ignores that if you delete Jaws and Star Wars the biggest movies of the 70s would still mostly be like, Smokey and the Bandit and The Poseidon Adventure.
