Christian Bale rarely gets the recognition he deserves for the remarkable performances he delivered early in his career. Released in 1993 on the album Pork Soda, My Name Is Mud remains one of the most iconic songs by Primus. Driven by the distinctive bass work of Les Claypool, the track combines dark comedy, eccentric storytelling, and unconventional musicianship to create a sound unlike anything else of its era. Its heavy bass tone and strange, hypnotic groove became defining elements of the band’s identity. Over time, “My Name Is Mud” has earned cult-classic status, praised for its originality, technical skill, and refusal to follow mainstream rock conventions. Decades after its release, the song continues to be celebrated as a standout example of alternative and experimental rock at its most inventive.

The person in the video is Primus frontman Les Claypool portraying the character "Mud" in their 1993 music video; it is not Christian Bale despite the resemblance. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Name_I… youtube.com/watch?v=953Pkx…

Plasma orb UFO videos appear to prove David Grusch is telling the truth — Cuomo Cuomo opened tonight’s show talking aliens. “A close encounter of the 3rd kind is a sighting in which an intelligent being associated with the UFO is observed. That’s what Grusch is talking about.”

Since this scene was a mix of 2D and 3D animation, it was extremely complex and challenging to make work. I had to make sure all the action timing was prepared in advance. Many people worked incredibly hard to make this possible

The Battle for Paris (August 1944) 🇫🇷 After four years of German occupation, French resistance fighters launched a massive uprising to reclaim their capital. Rare colorized footage captures the intense urban combat as the Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur (FFI) battle German troops in the streets of Paris. By August 24, General Leclerc's French 2nd Armored Division had entered the city with M4 Sherman tanks and other armored vehicles. The following day, on August 25, 1944, the German garrison surrendered, helping secure the liberation of Paris and bringing four years of occupation to an end. Digitally restored, enhanced, and presented with sound design to recreate how these moments may have looked and sounded at the time.

This short film “Dead Grandma” is 80 seconds long, one shot, no on-camera dialogue, and more effective than some features with 100x the budget. It also won the jury prize at Slamdance and landed in Variety. Whoever created this is a genius,it manages to make you ask, “Who is she?” and “How did she die?” before delivering a twist that raises even bigger questions. In less than a minute and a half, it builds tension, raises the stakes then left you with more questions, does anyone else know she has the kid, will anyone notice like the mailman?

Where is Terminator 2: Judgment Day & why am I not seeing it pictured below? I don’t give a damn how many Oscars James Cameron won for Titanic & I care even less about the money he made for Avatar. T2 is the best thing Cameron has ever done in his fucking life. Perfect sequel.
What is the best sequel of all time?

This movie got so close to reality that the government shut it down before it could be finished. On the Silver Globe (1988) is one of the strangest sci-fi films ever made. Directed by Andrzej Żuławski, it follows a colony of astronauts whose descendants gradually transform history into myth and religion. The film was nearly lost forever when the Polish communist government shut down production in 1976 and ordered much of it destroyed while it was about 80% complete. Years later, Żuławski recovered enough footage to finish the film. Missing scenes are replaced by his narration over documentary footage of modern Poland, giving the movie an even more surreal and unique quality.

Every line Bill Paxton delivers in Aliens (1986) is instantly memorable. Hudson practically becomes the movie’s panic button.

Who is an actor that only gets 5-10 minutes of screen time but completely steals the entire movie?

And here we go! @coffeebreak_YT just dropped his hour long, highly anticipated Bricks and Minfigs video. I watched it so you don’t have to: Coffeezilla’s deep-dive into the missing Lego scandal is a financial forensics masterclass, exposing a viral heist narrative as a catastrophic mix of atrocious franchise record keeping and corporate deflection. By matching the collector's spreadsheets against point of sale data, Coffeezilla proved the remaining collection was never worth two hundred thousand dollars, but had a midpoint value of roughly one hundred and seven thousand dollars. To reconstruct the timeline, Coffeezilla interviewed corporate Bricks and Minifigs CEO Ammon McNeff and COO Matt McNeff, former Salem franchise owners Crystal and Benjamin Gorman, and YouTuber Reckless Ben. He also introduced a Eugene sister store whistleblower, evaluated timelines from incoming owner Brandon Best, reviewed text statements from partner Josh Johnson, and integrated direct accounts from the victimized collector, Bryan Mansell. Meticulously accounting for the inventory dollar by dollar, Coffeezilla's team used physical photo tagging to prove at least twenty one thousand dollars in Star Wars sets sat in the store the night of the takeover, directly contradicting corporate’s claim that only two to five thousand dollars existed. He then tracked twenty thousand dollars locked in uncompleted customer layaways, ten thousand dollars in unlogged register sales, and twenty thousand dollars in off book side deals Mancel made with other creators. After corporate executives emphatically denied a U-Haul truck was ever at the store during the midnight raid, Coffeezilla exposed a parking lot photo from that exact night, enhanced the exposure, and caught the truck hidden in plain sight, forcing the CEO into a panicked backpedal about hauling a camping trailer. Ultimately, Coffeezilla uncovers that while poor tracking leaves only $10,000 to $21,000 truly vanished, Mansell is still out between $50,000-$80,000. Instead of making the victim whole, corporate launched a $1.3M RICO lawsuit against them.
