Principal @QMUL Colin Bailey has a habit of ignoring his staff.
A year ago, 800 people signed a letter urging him to cut ties with companies supporting the Israeli war machine.
He never even acknowledged the letter.

Today, I met my dad’s friend on the street. I honestly didn’t recognize him; no one looks the same after a year of genocide. I asked him how he had been doing. He said he had four sons, and one after another, they were killed over the span of a year. His last son and wife were killed last month. Now, he sleeps on the streets with no family. A vibrant man who once owned a house, a car, and a business is now deprived of everything, even his family.

Wow. The UN says the UN-run school shelter that was bombed today by Israel not only killed several UN staff, but that this was the sixth time Israel has bombed this particular shelter.
Just Tragic.

Six @UNRWA colleagues killed today when two airstrikes hit a school and its surroundings in Nuseirat in the middle areas.
This is the highest death toll among our staff in a single incident.
Among those killed was the manager of the UNRWA shelter and other team members providing assistance to displaced people.
Sincere condolences to their families and loved ones.
This school has been hit five times since the war began.
It is home to around 12,000 displaced people, mainly women and children.
No one is safe in Gaza
No one is spared.
Schools and other civilian infrastructure must be protected at all times, they are not a target.
We call on all parties to the conflict to never use schools or the areas around them for military or fighting purposes.
