I have seen the ridiculous articles about the Princess of Wales stare down. Anyone that is a mother bear has used this look. This is a look of protecting your cubs, doing anything to keep them safe. There’s a reason William and Catherine do not share everything their children do. They want them to have a sense of normalcy, the little bit they can. They knew there was a chance they would witness the basement dwellers during this carriage ride, but they also know that being part of the monarchy, they don’t want to completely hide their children. Catherine one of the most classy ladies around, got her point across. Those basement dwellers think they are something important, they are not. They are just showing how much a joke they are and how their pathetic stunts will not chase the monarchy away. They eventually will fade completely away and have to get real jobs. Until then continue to look at Catherine’s look and understand this is a mother bear doing what she does best. Don’t take her sweetness for granted, her children are the most important part of her life.
