1, How many yrs will quantum crack?
2, How many yrs will bitcoin be quantum-safe?

Lattice gets Pros & cons, it depends on.
IMO, we will choose to trust Prof. Dan Boneh's team if they get sleeves up to contribute bitcoin some lattice-based quantum-safe dig-sig with more features, threshod, aggregation etc.
Anther teams else? I probably keep my doubt on.

The fact is all the bitcoin devs' names are NOT on the list of 2000 NIST-PQC quantum-safe cryptographers, it means bitcoin guys get few on q-safe, that's why @neha tell clearly to hope those hard-core NIST-PQC guys to get more acquaintent with bitcoin

For which kind of quantum-safe digital signature bitcoin should be adopt with?
Obviously, Prof. Dan Boneh gets different opinion with Adam Back. the former prefers to choose lattice-based, and hybrid, while Adam choose to use hash-based, Sphincs .

Given the interview was nearly 2 hours long, I take your wish for more length as a high compliment!
I’m curious: if we implement hash-based signatures as a first step — with the intention of adding lattice-based signatures later — would the thought be to deprecate the initial hash-based scheme at that point, and implement a lattice hash( ecc?) hybrid signature instead a al Dan’s suggestion here?

Pls postpone or cancel bitcoin as a reserve, Sen Lummis! or not keep it 20 yrs!
As it's obviously getting an endless controverse on quantum-safe algo, its migration could be lasting for decade, It'll probably get to 0 in next 10/20 yrs for failure in migration/tackle to q-safe.
