So he’s fully aware of how dumb his “Jews aren’t Jews and Israel isn’t Israel” argument is.
1) The '2,000 years ago I was Middle Eastern' thing remains ridiculous. You won't admit that for obvious reasons, but it's why you will lose the propaganda war.
2) While nobody doubts an ancient presence of people who practiced Judaism in Palestine, there is also no doubt of over a millenium of Arab presence on the land.
3) Palestinians have far more descent from ancient Jewish (non-Arab) populations than nearly all Jews.

On her journey with her grandchildren to get to Israel, she stopped in Beirut.
