Looking back, I could never have predicted the journey these last few years would take me on. Nearly three years ago, I started building our local Berlin community with @oyacaro and dove headfirst into Solana. From little get-togethers at bars, art events featuring Form Function (RIP), to Summer Camp 2022, and the birth of Superteam Germany almost exactly 2 years ago, it’s so humbling to see the growth that we have helped spark. Working with @tamarincrypto, @rieker_noe, @oyacaro and our tenacious community of builders through the depths of the bear market was way more fun than those conditions usually allow—vibes were immaculate, and so many legends were born. The one and only @zCase_ joined us summer of 2023 and has been the most positive community force I’ve ever seen—and the event master! We were lucky enough to have @bjoerndotsol join the team in June, and just in 2024 there have been a total of approx. 170 IRL & virtual events with around 8k total attendees. MIND-BLOWING SHIT. Witnessing the growth of the people around me has been beyond inspiring, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed to building our outstanding network of talent across Germany. These two years with Superteam have been incredible and rewarding in more ways than I can count. I’ve grown and learned more than I ever expected, also thanks to the constant support from our local community and the incredible inspiring network of Superteam leads and the global Superteam fam (especially big shoutout to the greatest sherpa of all @kashdhanda). Together, we’ve built an international experiment of epic proportions that is changing countless lives, and it’s been an HONOUR! Change is inevitable, but it’s also the catalyst that pushes us out of our comfort zones, driving the development we need—not only for our personal journeys but to make impactful contributions to the ecosystem.
