#tarspot ID thread: With the confirmation of tar spot (last yr) here in Ontario, scouting and ID is important. It can blow in and over winter in ON. It is a raised black lesion that looks like a droplets of tar flicked on the leaf. Tassel time is a good time to start scouting.

Wheat will start to turn rapidly in this heat. Now is a good time to scout for FHB. We are at a higher risk based on the environmental conditions at flowering but we can manage it. Good news - T3 fungicides did a good job stopping the spread of Stripe Rust
