I loathe islam (vilest totalitarian political conquest ideology masquerading as a religion ever 🤮), but i love mathematics and due to the latter I'm fond of the badly named architectural art form known as "islamic design", so beautiful:

Impressive
Applying total systemic friction to the cartels: Last weekend, @JIATFS, along with allies and partner nations, interdicted 8 vessels in a 72-hour period, seizing a combined 17.91 tons of narcotics and denying ~$290.19M in total revenue to designated terrorist organizations.

You're not disgusted with Islam enough.
British MP Rupert Lowe, leader of Restore Britain, has released the independent Rape Gang Inquiry report. The findings are utterly vile. At least 250,000 young girls subjected to rape, gang rape, trafficking, torture, forced pregnancy, forced Islamic conversion, and lifelong trauma while police, social care, the NHS, schools, and courts failed to protect them. These institutions did not just fail to stop the rape gangs, they enabled them for the sake of inclusion and “political correctness”. It is SICKENING. static1.squarespace.com/stat…

Medieval Muslim-ruled Spain under the Umayyads was a slave society where Christian enslaved bodies, were central to elite power, sex, warfare, and status. Slave markets supplied elite households with female sexual slaves, some as young as eleven; harems with castrated boys made into eunuchs; armies with boys raised as slave soldiers; and courts with trained captive women whose race, age, beauty, and skills determined their market value. White slaves, especially blond captives taken in raids into Christian lands, were the most prized in Umayyad al-Andalus (Medieval Islamic Spain 756-1031). Prices were explicitly racialized and sexualized: value depended on race, sex, age, and abilities. Slave sellers also manipulated the appearance and behavior of captive women to increase demand. Darker faces were whitened, brunettes were made “golden,” women were dressed in transparent clothes, fingers were painted, and slave girls were even coached to flirt with potential slave market buyers. Sexual slavery sat near the center of court culture. Abd al-Rahman III’s court is described as having thousands of slaves, thousands of harem women, and thousands of slave warriors. In sum, Umayyad al-Andalus ran a brutal economy of sexual slavery, castration, captive labor, and military slavery.

This small dung beetle struck me for its exceptionally coppery sheen. Looks like *Aphodius erraticus* or *Aphodius fimetarius* (scarab beetles in the Aphodiinae subfamily). In ancient Egypt, SCARAB BEETLES were deeply revered as symbols of rebirth, regeneration, and the eternal cycle of life. The god Khepri was depicted as a scarab beetle rolling the sun across the sky, just as these beetles roll their dung balls — a powerful metaphor for creation and renewal. Scarab amulets were worn and buried with the dead for protection in the afterlife. Some modern spiritual lore also associates scarabs with exceptionally strong vital energy auras and resilience. They help recycle nutrients back into the soil. Which do you think it is — erraticus or fimetarius?

The scale of what is to come has no precedent
To get a sense of scale, here’s how the $85.7b SpaceX just raised compares to what they’ve historically spent on different programs. People aren’t ready for the magnitude of things to come

I’ve been looking into Teddy Roosevelt lately. He loses his wife and mother on the same day. That’s a trauma that could cause a man to end it all. What does he do? He leaves NYC and heads to the Badlands. THE BADLANDS. Reinvents himself. Finds his soul. An absolute heroes journey if ever there was one. Went from having nothing to live for to having everything to live for. There is something nourishing about these uniquely American lands that cannot be put into words. I remember feeling quite despondent myself once upon a time. Then I moved to the Mojave desert and it changed everything. I found there’s nothing deserted about the desert at all. What it lacks in physical life, it makes up for in the spiritual. The esoteric. I cannot explain what I’m trying to say about America. Don’t have the right words today. But I know this place can remake a man like no other on planet earth.
