If you’d have told me I’d ever be the Executive Producer of a film, I’d have told you that you were CRAZY.
It’s been an honor to stand behind a young man I deeply admire: the talented filmmaker Josh Leong.
His vision for LOST BOYS is an impact film that tells the story of the global orphan crisis, through the lens of a young man who grew up in an orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The very same orphanage my oldest son grew up in.
You can’t make this stuff up. When he asked me to get involved, I couldn’t say no.
Today was the first day of principal photography there. Tomorrow, I head to Addis to help behind the scenes for a few days.
I can’t wait for you all to see LOST BOYS when it premieres next year. Enjoy Josh’s “director’s intro” in the mean time.
PS: If anyone has a crash course on being an Executive Producer for a film, please do let me know. 😂
