The headline feature - a new "Siri AI" that runs on Google's Gemini, not Apple's own tech.
- The new Siri runs on Google's Gemini and is banned in the EU and China at launch
- iOS 27 supports the iPhone 11 - app launches got 30% faster, AirDrop 80% faster
- Siri can now read your screen, identify what your camera sees, and order your food by voice
- Apple added kid accounts and a built-in calendar that replaces third-party apps
The features were great. The fact that Google built half of them is what cost Apple $230B.

Californians used to say things like "San Francisco isn't real California." Texans with Austin, Coloradans with Denver too.
