From Anthropic/US gov saga, let's go one step further, to vision. Imagine a future where one centralized entity controls World's cameras: surveillance concentration, gatekeeping, monopolistic pricing, hidden bias, national dependence, etc. This is why we need Bittensor SN44 $TAO.

Sooner or later centralized big pharma will lobby the bureaucrats in Washington to ban or only allow "certain few" companies the ability to do drug research and discovery. This is why we need $TAO, this is why we need @metanova_labs.
Decentralized AI isn't just philosophically better, it's functionally necessary for science to move at the speed required. Anthropic already made Claude structurally useless for serious biotech work before any government pressure. When they launched Claude Opus 4, they activated ASL-3 — their internal Responsible Scaling Policy's highest deployed tier. The trigger? Internal testing showed the model could assist someone with a basic STEM background in synthesizing dangerous pathogens. Their chief scientist called it explicitly: COVID-like agents, pandemic-level risk. Their response was to apply broad biological research restrictions across the board. The problem is that the same guardrails that block novice bioterrorists also block legitimate computational drug discovery, protein engineering, nanobody design, and molecular pathway analysis. You can't surgically remove "dangerous biology" from "useful biology" at the model level — the underlying science is the same. So they blunted the whole thing. This is what centralized AI control looks like in practice. One company's risk tolerance — shaped by liability, regulatory pressure, and investor optics — becomes the ceiling for what an entire scientific field can access. Open source isn't just an ideological position — it's infrastructure for the next era of drug discovery.

Score is positioning SN44 as a vision model factory. "The pipeline behind it is the story." That's a much larger opportunity. SN44 is the place companies go when they need a custom vision model running local. "distillation is not a one-off trick ... it is a production line." $TAO

"65x increase in molecular search speed compared to standard Thompson sampling methods." LET'S GO @metanova_labs 🚀 $TAO
The chemical universe is too massive for brute-force computing. "It would take over 170 years to brute force this data set by running inference on every single possible molecule." @metanova_labs #SN68 "Nova blueprint" incentivizes global miners to design and open-source their algorithmic shortcuts // The result is a 65x increase in molecular search speed compared to standard Thompson sampling methods. "the bank of bittensor"? interesting... $TAO
“The bank of Bittensor” That’s how @zipcodenetwork framed the long-term vision for SN46 on the latest Novelty Search. Zipcode started with real estate appraisals. The bigger vision is on-chain credit, real-world assets, and a new financial layer on Bittensor. Hosted by @const_reborn Full episode in the first comment

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

The only Bittensor SN with a solid network, a top notch product, and a very strong company rapidly shipping: $TAO SN44. Considering locking my stake.
Jun 10
new in @manakoai: pick your optimisation target and the platform converges on it. no thresholds, no tuning, no ML engineer. you say what good looks like, manako gets there. fewer false alarms, higher recall, lower cost. our team ships things daily that we'd have called impossible a year ago.

Every and all vision AI will go through SN44. $TAO
Score x Vidaio. Following our @ProofOfTalk presentation, @vidaio_ (SN85) is partnering with us to be one of the first teams to launch their own vision AI challenges on SN44. The goal: bring advanced visual intelligence into VidaioOS, making video archives searchable, actionable and monetisable at an entirely new level. Two subnets, one network effect. More to come in the coming weeks.

the solution is @bittensor $TAO
Replying to @MsMelChen
The solution is to rally around open source. That's the only way to compete with a superpower technology network effect if you are not a superpower yourself. And it's the only way to bring the rest of the world along on the same team as you. Open source.

$TAO holders. This one is personal. I live with an autoimmune disease. I know what the standard of care looks like. I know what corticosteroids do to your body when you have to rely on them for years. So when @metanova_labs, SN68, announced its new IL-6 target, I paid attention and locked in to what they are doing. Autoimmune disease affects roughly 50 million Americans and around 8% of the global population. Lupus. Rheumatoid arthritis. Crohn’s. MS. Psoriasis. Hashimoto’s. For many patients, long-term steroid use is still the fallback. The side effects are so brutal. Osteoporosis. Cataracts. Glaucoma. Metabolic damage. Adrenal suppression. Weight gain. Mood instability. IL-6 is one of the major inflammatory signals in the body. If you can target it cleanly, you can potentially treat inflammation without destroying everything else around it. That is why IL-6 inhibitors are already a multi-billion dollar market. Actemra. Kevzara. Treatments that can run tens of thousands per patient per year. Now, NOVA is bringing that into Bittensor. Their last nanobody target was PD-L1 for cancer immunotherapy. They received 8,446 unique nanobody submissions from an open decentralized competition. Now, they are moving to IL-6 in partnership with Yalotein, with top submissions eligible for wet lab validation. That is the important part. This is not just AI generating molecules for a dashboard. This is a decentralized virtual screening flowing toward real biologics development. And if it wasn't for biologics, my quality of life would be so different now! NOVA is also making the chemical search competition more exploration focused. Molecules that are too chemically similar will be rejected. That matters because in drug discovery, making 1,000 versions of the same idea is easy. Finding genuinely different scaffolds that actually work is the hard part. That is where real breakthroughs come from. This is why NOVA is different from most AI drug discovery. NOVA is hundreds of miners competing in parallel, paid in $TAO, ranked by results, and pushing the best candidates toward wet lab testing. Cancer, on the one hand. Inflammation on the next. What I am watching now: How many IL-6 submissions come in compared to the 8,446 from PD-L1. Whether the new exploration rules increase true chemical diversity. Most importantly, what happens in wet lab validation with Yalotein. Because that is where decentralized AI either proves itself in physical reality or it does not. The people who need better autoimmune treatments are not thinking about crypto. They are in waiting rooms or emergency rooms. They are trying to work through pain. They are choosing between rent and the medication. They are hoping for something better, period. If decentralized incentive driven discovery can shave years off the timeline or help lower the cost of better therapies, the impact is not just measured in token price. It is measured in lives and quality of life itself. That is why I care about this network. It's not just a chart. The work. NOVA is one subnet. There are many more. Each one is writing its own version of this incredible mission while the market argues about everything else. I will be watching IL-6 closely. Personally and otherwise. $TAO
New NOVA nanobody target is live: IL-6 (Interleukin-6) IL-6 is one of the central signaling proteins behind inflammation and immune regulation. When dysregulated, it has been implicated in: - autoimmune disorders - chronic inflammation - neuroinflammation - blood-brain barrier disruption Making it a highly relevant target for inflammatory, neurological, and immune-related diseases. The IL-6 inhibitor market is already worth billions annually, with drugs targeting this pathway generating multi-billion dollar revenues across autoimmune and inflammatory indications, validating both the biological and commercial importance of the target. Miners across NOVA will now compete to design nanobodies targeting IL-6 in an open, adversarial discovery environment. Top submissions may also be selected for wet lab validation through our partnership with @Yalotein, helping close the loop between decentralized virtual screening and real-world biologics development. #Bittensor #SN68 #DrugDiscovery #Biotech #Nanobodies #DeSci

If you just got laid off from Meta and you build in the field of vision AI or AI powered medicine discovery, look into @webuildscore and @metanova_labs. $TAO
I just got laid off from Meta. Obviously it sucks to lose the income. But between the never-ending layoffs, stack ranking, etc., I'm good. Pretty convinced that when I look back at this moment a few years into the future, I'll be grateful it happened. There's a lot I want to say here, but I'll save that for another day. Either way it's been a privilege to have been a part of the ride. On to the next adventure.
