tryhackme.com/r/room/metaspl… Just completed the metasploit: Exploitation room on TryHackMe I have a better understanding of how Metasploit can help identify potential vulnerabilities on target systems and exploit these vulnerabilities. #ethicalhacking#cybersecurity
Also learned how the database feature can help with penetration testing engagements where there are multiple potential targets.
Finally, I gained some experience with msfvenom and the creation of stand-alone Meterpreter payloads.
This is especially helpful in situations where one can upload a file to the target system or have the ability to download files to the target system. Meterpreter is a powerful tool that offers a lot of easy-to-use features during the post-exploitation phase.
Understanding the basics: Common TCP protocols, their ports, and the importance of securing data beyond cleartext communication. In today’s cybersecurity landscape, encryption isn't optional — it’s essential. 🔒 #CyberSecurity#Networking#DataProtection
Reviewed and practiced advanced Nmap scanning techniques including custom flags, spoofing, and fragmentation.
