Opinion: Trudeau can live his postpolitical life however he wants, but it will invariably reflect on his time in office /via @globeandmail Very good opinion piece. "...when these ex-leaders decide to deliberately put their actions in the public eye – perhaps by hosting a public art exhibit, or by permitting a pop-star girlfriend to blast videos and images to her 200 million followers – the claim to privacy is not really valid...." It's open season on Trudeau. "At present, Canada is not just walking back some policies implemented under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, but totally reversing course: We are slashing immigration, abandoning climate-change measures, shrinking the public service, rewriting bail and sentencing policy, scrapping planned changes to capital-gains taxation, spending big on national defence and so on. Canada is very much in the early stages of dealing with the last decade of mismanagement, during which, according to a just-published RBC report, $1-trillion in investment exited Canada, which constitutes “the largest capital exodus in Canadian history.” Under this long shadow, Mr. Trudeau is on a ski lift alongside Prince Harry, and dancing with Katy Perry at Coachella, which is the type of trip that, just one year ago, he encouraged Canadians to avoid in protest of the tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. One might’ve expected just a touch more humility." The guy totally fucked the country, is a total hypocrite and I for one am not about to simply forget him and let him live his life in peace. theglobeandmail.com/opinion/…

In Yemen, 90% of men and 50% of women chew khat daily. A quarter of all their household income is spent on this plant. Alcohol is haram, but they are all drug addicts. Make it make sense.

Carney, Have you seen this? Ukrainians don't want the fight that you are helping to pay for with Canadian's money. Stop it. Just stop it. x.com/i/status/2066661903569…

Assurer une paix juste et durable pour l'Ukraine et l'Europe. C'est notre priorité de ce matin ici, au Sommet du G7 à Évian, en France.

The Scots took over Boston and they belt out OUR anthem, word for word, in a pub! The Europeans and Japanese at the World Cup have made the world appreciate America. (Maybe they can teach the Democrats).

"In the past, dissidents from authoritarian countries could flee to the West." "But if the country trajectory continues in a decade or two from now, they will have a hard time trying to understand whether they have already left their oppressive homeland or they're just entering another open air prison." "Now, I hope it will not come to that, but we need to realize the gravity of the situation. We need to start acting. We don't have a backup plan" @durov
🔺Telegram founder Pavel Durov compares the lack of panic during the sinking of the Titanic with the current lack of awareness in Europe as citizens freedoms are stripped away: “I came here today to tell you-that we find ourselves in a similar predicament. In a similar situation. Our ship. Has already hit the iceberg. We have already started to sink. Without even realizing it. And I'm talking about the ship of our personal freedoms” Continuing giving examples of his personal experiences of fraud and corruption with Russia, the EU and France. Before moving onto Keir Starmer’s UK clampdown on social media: “Thousands of people are getting arrested every year in the United Kingdom for social media posts. You say somethingpolitically incorrect online, you may end up being fined or spend some time in prison in Germany”

BREAKING: The first arrest has now been made following the shocking events in Manchester. One of the women who repeatedly threw bottles of water at me during the event and allegedly encouraged others to attack me is now in police custody. But this is just the beginning. Police are also pursuing the Stand Up to Racism activists and the group of lads involved in the attack. Officers have told me this is one of the most high-profile cases they have dealt with in recent memory. Most importantly, they made it clear that the huge online backlash and public pressure forced this case into the spotlight and ensured it could not be ignored. Justice is finally being delivered. More updates to come.

Austrian president said all women should wear a hijab to show solidarity with Muslims: “With increasing Islamophobia, we might have to ask ALL women to wear a headscarf to show solidarity with those who do so for religious reasons.” This is mental illness.

Every week we hear of another rape by someone who should never have been here. If protecting children was really the priority, they would secure the border and remove these dangerous men. Instead, they’re building a surveillance state and acting as though our dissent is the real threat.

"And of course, what this means is that all regulated social media sites will have to confirm the age of all their users." "It's one thing for governments to say that young people can't buy alcohol or that young people can't gamble, but social media sites are 100% expressive, and teenagers have a constitutionally protected right to freedom of expression." @privacylawyer

So. Again. Assuming this is true……we have just crossed from 1938-39. This betrayal by the US of 🇮🇱 and any nation that gives a toss about preserving liberalism and democracy….is epic. It also explains why some “pundits” who shill for certain vested interests…..are uncharacteristically quiet today.
I can now confirm that Israel formally requested access to the Iran MoU and was denied. A remarkable and highly unusual development between close allies on an issue of such critical national security importance.

"Canada needs a realistic energy transition while ensuring sufficient conventional supply. To penalize the use of fossil fuels to meet arbitrary climate targets that are impoverishing the country while driving up the cost of living at home, and price volatility, energy austerity, conflict, hunger and authoritarianism abroad is morally reprehensible, strategically irresponsible, and fundamentally un-Canadian. A majority of Canadians have now come to understand this intuitively. As utopian energy and electricity policy collide with dystopian reality, it’s time for a healthy dose of climate realism" @D_Lilkov @TheHubCanada

Is Canada capable of operating F-35 and Gripen dual fighter jet fleets? Q "Is it as easy for the RCAF, for instance, to operate a dual generation fleet?" Iain Huddleston, Deputy Commander NORAD "I mean, I was the commander of 1st Canadian Air Division and the answer is no, personnel wise." "I mean, you've seen the Auditor General reports. They are stark in their assessment of our capabilities." "Our fighter force has been struggling for a number of years and it's going to take a while for it to recover, is the fundamental answer to your question" Someone might want to tell Mark Carney... @MarkJCarney

"You have to inoculate your children against this stuff." "And then they will be good citizens." "Then they will create things of value to the society, and they will spread that message to others." @KonstantinKisin
Want to save the West? Start by telling your children the truth. A society that teaches its children to hate their inheritance shouldn't be surprised when they fail to preserve it. Teach your children gratitude. Teach them why freedom matters. Teach them what made the West successful. Because if you don't tell them the truth about their civilisation, someone else will tell them a lie.

"Carney can't keep a story straight. Everything is for the moment, then on to the next place, and he changes it again." "Liberals will try to explain as always. You have to be mentally challenged to think Canada is a powerhouse or winning at anything other than full-press bullshit."
Good morning. It's an early spray day. Left the city at 4 and have been spraying since 5. Water is damaging crops. You can see it on flat fields. Jelly Roll is getting divorced! Kind of figured that one out. Carney can't keep a story straight. Everything is for the moment, then on to the next place, and he changes it again. Liberals will try to explain as always. You have to be mentally challenged to think Canada is a powerhouse or winning at anything other than full-press bullshit. Have a great day. Is it open or closed? But like always, we overpaid for everything, and the prices we get dropped like a stone way too soon.
