Maybe a little more of a fun runner than my last outing at London (even got my name printed on my vest :)) but very happy with 2:30:57 result, and 10th V45. All those historic training miles doing their work. What a great atmosphere, and already thinking about the next one!!

Fantastic to see at least 80 people (that we know of!) from all over Scotland coming together to run and reminisce
Huge thanks to Cameron Campbell for coming along to cook the post run BBQ
Another brilliant @BlackRockFive. Fitting tribute to Alastair Hay at the start. Completed the race in same amount of time it took entries to sell out, and was 1st M40 fifetoday.co.uk/sport/other-…
Runners, we’re asking for your support with something this evening.
We’ll be doing a minute’s applause on the start line in memory of Alastair Hay, just before the start of the race. Please join us as we celebrate the life of a stalwart of the running community @Central_AC
Info below on our planned group runs in Dunkeld on Sun 30th June to remember Ali Hay who loved the trails there very much.

Alastair Hay was an outstanding runner, and an outstanding character. So many achievements, both directly (e.g. pictured defending the Scottish XC in 2010), and indirectly via inspiration, advice, team morale, sportsmanship, and friendship.

It's hard to express in words how much Ali Hay meant to our club. From day 1 he was someone I looked up to as an athlete and as a person. It truly was a pleasure to learn from one of the best to ever do it. Rest easy Ali 💛💙
A true hero and inspiration to many. Not just @Central_AC but in the wider @scotathletics community.
Universally liked by all and it was a great honour to not only run thousands of miles with Ali over the years but more importantly to have him as a friend.
Rest easy Super Ali
