Gaza is now completely submerged the scene is unbearably harsh, beyond description.
Water has flooded everything. The tents couldn’t withstand the heavy rain and have torn apart over the heads of women and children, who have nothing but their shivering bodies for shelter.
Just moments ago, a crumbling wall collapsed on a small child who was running to escape the downpour. His condition is extremely critical, and no one has been able to pull him out yet.
Rainwater, mixed with sewage, has flooded the tents, contaminated the food, soaked the bedding and even reached our living, breathing bodies.
We are being bombed from the sky, drowning from the ground, freezing from the cold, and starving to exhaustion. This is not just a storm… this is a deliberate catastrophe, left to finish what the war did not.
We are not asking for the impossible just caravans to shelter us, to protect us from the rain, from the cold, from death. But it seems the world doesn’t care about even the most basic human rights.
Pressure them. Speak out. Do something. Just don’t stay silent.
Because the world’s silence is a partner in what’s happening to us.
