This is dire Essentially it’s saying that the US government is forcefully creating a two tier AI system where US citizens get access to the best models, while the rest of the world are locked out
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

I did a write up on why I wrote Basilisk. It's slightly political. If you do any Python at all, you should check it out. @GeoffreyHuntley is definitely an inspiration here.

Ran deslop on a flutter project. Can confirm it is awesome.
Deslop is grounded in the theory of traditional code deduplication tools, but it’s put together for the AI era where everything is about preventing AI from making clones of your code

Hey Python devs. We eliminated 34 false positives on the PEP conformance score tests. Basilisk is right up with there in terms of performance! Well, not with ty, but that's a different story
