It seems @BorisJohnson intends to sort out the #HS2 fiasco by running it to Australia:

At the 2011 consultation, we were promised #HS2 would cost £32.7bn **including** "significant" contingency. Yesterday the PM admitted to @NickFerrariLBC that the cost will be **at least** £100bn. That's £100,000,000,000 of taxpayers' money for one #WhiteElephant vanity project.
