On #WorldEnvironmentDay, this is the reality near Sec 23 dumping ground roundabouts, Panchkula. Garbage scattered everywhere along the roads, and the legacy waste remediation work has seemingly halted.

The state of affairs is real bad. Sharing details for a particular sector 25. 7 vehicles on portal 11 personal yet on ground only half. To add to it only 4 drivers in the list of eleven . Clear intention of not using seven vehicles.

What sort of publicity-ops being run by the Councillor, the RWA to mislead the residents that all is well at the jhuriwala dumping ground site. No doubt dumping stopped but remediation still not complete. Leachete still visible. Complete remediation first , plantation later.
