๐ The Africa Evidence Leadership Award (AELA) is more than recognition โ itโs a movement shaping stronger decisions and resilient communities across Africa.
โจ In 2022, Dr Temitope Sogbanmu, Founder of EUEPiN, was honoured as the Evidence Intermediary Awardee. Her visibility through AELA amplified impact & positioned EUEPiN as a trusted broker in the environmental evidence space.
๐ Achievements include:
- Co-creating Lagos Stateโs Pan-Sectoral Air Quality Action Plan with toolkits & Indigenous-language animations.
- Training professionals in environmental evidence synthesis.
- Leading dialogues at the Clean Air Forum in Nairobi.
- Empowering communities through SCEPACE water security solutions.
๐ Her leadership shows how evidence intermediaries bridge research, policy and practice โ making knowledge accessible, actionable and transformative.
๐ When evidence is championed, communities thrive, and policies change.
